Rehab

Z's probation officer just called, he is going into Rehab tomorrow for 60 days. I will update once things have settled. I pray that this time while there he gets it. I pray the Lord puts a mentor in his path that will help him to regain his way.

I hope so too. There are many who don't hold much stock in rehab. I have no opinion about it since I simply don't know enough. But I hope that you get a respite.

Great news! I hope and pray that this rehab really gets to him and also for that mentor that will inspire him and help him. Also for you - its just such a bumpy ride, keep hanging on.

that's good news! I'm glad he got a spot and will pray that he "gets it" while he is in there.... I hope he just soaks up the education they give and learns much to help him stay clean. Take GOOD CARE OF YOU during this time. I'm praying for your family.

That's great news! This will give you time to really concentrate on your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being!

I pray that this is the time for Zach!!

I believe this is great news. It will be a good rest for you and possibly this will be the "time" for Zach. You are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Hi Renee,

I'm just getting back and getting caught up with your blog. I just read the post before this one, about sponsorship.

Since you left a comment on my blog about not having anyone to sponsor you, I felt moved to talk about it with my sponsor. I'd like to share with you what we talked about. If you're interested, you can reach me at kathymgracecalling@gmail.com. Hugs.

Best of luck to you and your son. My son has been in rehab for 5 months. We pray that he will complete and graduate a year long program. I will keep you in my prayers. Laura

My 22 son is just started suboxone for his opiate addiction and is in counseling as well and group meetings. I am also praying that God brings a friend to him someone who can support and inspire him. He has no friends at this point as they are all users so he needs to stay away from them. I am so happy that I found these blogs, I felt so very alone dealing with my son's addiction.
